So I'm going to guess that Bob Hartley's contract won't be renewed at the end of this year. The Flames will have another mediocre, or even poor season, place where they did this year or worse, and then Bob Hartley's contract will not be renewed.

So what if Treliving brings back Jim Playfair? They have a relationship from Phoenix, and in hindsight, Jim Playfair had a great first year as Flames coach! After the past several years, he has probably learned a lot, and really- could he be brought back and get the justice he never received before?

Your thoughts?

Seeing how Hartley got maximum effort from the team last year, I do not see this happening. He will get an extension before the year is out imo.

Hartley got the most he could out of them this season, and had them playing almost lights out after "The Brawl".

I actually think they are a playoff team next season.
