Eric Engels: 10 Notes on Habs Season/Offseason - EricEngels
You're right about Vanek and what he did for the team 5x5, maybe Moulson could do the same?
No to Michalek.
1 year 1M for Weaver.
And no to Gionta, time to get bigger!!!
Briere to BUF for a pick would be nice too. |

Would a package of plekanec, tokarski and a 2nd be enough to get E. Kane from winnipeg?
Weaver will get 1.3 for 1 year. 2 years would be a mistake IMO |

I don't mind michalek if the price is right. If Bourque is still around thoguh, consistency could be a big issue having both of them in the lineup |

Don't know, any other UFA available?
Habs don't have much to trade, and if they do, I would prefer a top 4 dman. |

Hemsky would be my choice.
Maybe Vrbata, but he's getting old. |

He'd fill the softness quota left vacant by Tomas Vanek quite nicely, imho. |

The hard nosed player are not available.
(and don't tell me Chris Stewart)
Soft and skilled still makes the team better.

I wouldn't mind him on a line with Plek.
But if so... Gio AND Bourque need to go. |
