I think so. Look at what was done in LA. I am sure he is bringing in his ideas.

Not really sure I have an opinion yet; do believe Hextall's done enough to earn the opportunity, but also believe Homer did enough to stay in the role.

the reason for today's press conference is no big mystery. However, I will wait until it is done to analyze and comment. I am not yet sure if there will be any other announcements of front office changes.

I'd like to see more of an emphasis on bringing centers into the fold

I agree.

I think the timing is due to the Flyers getting calls from orgs looking for GMs to interview Hextall for the role. This move was already in the works anyway.

As for the derpy "Same old, same old" opinions that are already coming out, we don't know what type of GM Hextall will be until he does some actual GM stuff.
