Tough loss guys.

But I think the isles look good. They certainly have all the right pieces in place

The bottom line, is crappy (like most of garths low risk, high reward additions), has never won anything. Im so tired of hearing his post game speeches. "I liked how we played, but our guys need to find a way to win". Thats not coaching.......thats passing the buck. The isles problem has been in years past finishing games.....closing teams out. How many games this year have the isles lost the lead in 3rd and lost the game? Seems to me, the coach doesnt have the answer.

How about call a timeout.......shorten the bench.....anything. To me Clutterbuck is the Sillinger of this team. He should be pk1, and should be getting minutes with shutdown guys in the last 10 min of third. If baileys 10 games without a point, stop going with him for a game. If bouchard is soft on the puck, dont have him out there for the last desperation shift...

Because Washington is an eastern team it took them one period to figure out the team and stage a comeback while for the King's it took two periods to figure out what their weakness was. However it was a rocking good game with alot of good MO and you knew no Darryl Sutter team would go with a whimper considering they came within a shot of going to the finals again last spring, now how tough is that.

Even with a lead of two, you still need to grab another goal in a third to widen it and keep the MO. As JT said they stopped skating but maybe the King's had more physical strength and maturity to slow them instead of the other way.

Love Ness and Cizikas raising their game and yes Poulin is not perfect but doesn't look like he's scared to be out there.

Is Poulin going to be the starter going forward? At this point, it doesn't seem like it matters too much who is in goal...
I still think Nabokov is the best option in net for you guys going forward...

Oh yes. We do.

Dee is too afraid to call out anyone for fear of being outcast by the Islanders organization.

Ever since she won the NHL 7th man award several years back, she's become a shill of the Islanders front office. She won't criticize Snow and Wang for putting an AHL defense on the ice after the success of last season. She won't call Hickey what he is...THE WORST DEFENSEMEN IN THE NHL...because he was Garth's signing from off the trash heap. Same with Strait.

Instead, we get a steady stream of "NY Islander player (fill in name) will be appearing at the Islanders store signing autographs..." She's nothing more than a PR mouthpiece for Emperor Charles.

How is it you haven't called out Hickey for being out of position so often he plays like a 4th forward?

How is it there is no mention of Josh Bailey NOT HAVING RECORDED A SINGLE SHOT in 6 games?

or how Grabner is being wasted on the third line?

The writing for the Islanders on this website what far improved when Dee was on vacation. Please extend it.
