Imho I think he can if he plays on the right team.

No. Unless its the best team in the league so he faces few shots. He's a good goalie but not a workhorse starter.

For sure he can. I mean there are 50% of starting goaltenders who have a sub par .500 record so he can easily be the #1 on a team that struggles. But if the question is can be a #1 on a contending team then the answer is no.

In the past, he played his best hockey when he saw fewer minutes, which makes him a perfect backup.

I think he's good enough to be a #1, but I'd be worried down the stretch and come playoffs time.

he might be able to be a brian elliot style 1a/1b system goalie but he's sure no workhorse...

he would crack with anything more than 30 games. he's in the (frank)ing zone because he practices 6 days a week and plays every 14 days.
