I think it will be a benefit to have Zadarov in. I do not, however, think playing McBain over Risto is a good idea or even having seven defensemen. The Sabres are having a tough enough time scoring as it is. Why take out an offensive player unless McBain is playing an offensive role on the 4th line.

I still do not see how this is a positive idea, but I am always up for being surprised.

What a joke of "rebuilding year", Rolston great at coaching young players, sends Grigorenko to a line with Scott and McCormick and has him play 4 mins a game, (meanwhile you have porter playing on our third line who may be the worst passer on our team/league) sends our promising 1st round D-man (who has played no worse than anyone on this team) to Rochester, I get it that you need room for Zadorov, but Jamie McBain really? GTFO. Sick of this rebuilding talk, are you rebuilding or not... seems like people are trying to save their jobs... I'd rather have them lose every game with the rookies than to let porter and the other slouches play above the young guys.

Wow you have a bunch of strong opinions. You must know more about hockey, the sabres, their rookies, and their coaching staff then the people making the decisions do. Get a clue buddy...there is a reason you are posing on hockeybuzz and the others are being paid to make decisions.
