They may not be good (yet), but they overachieved to the same extent at which the 'Nuks underachieved. You should be worried more about just how bad your team actually is, not on paper, but for real. Slammin your smack around on a Flames thread only shows how little confidence you have in your own declining club and while trying to make up for it by taking shots at a team that is going in a completely opposite direction... up. Now as it's the weekend, there's beer to drink, and know one else here can stick their head up their a$$ as far as you in order to understand your point of view, it's time to stop waisting 25 seconds of my life on you. Yep. Learning a new system takes time. Especially when your veteran crap team isn't very good. Shane your farm sucks and you don't have a single top prospect in there to help learn that system.

Since this thread was started to speculate on who the Flames might take, perhaps that discussion can take place now?

I have a feeling by the time it gets to us, Reinhart, Ekblad and Bennett will be gone. So if CS consensus aligns with Flames scouting the chances are we are looking at Leon Draisaitl or Michael Dal Colle. Anyone have a preference?

German-born players are very hard to figure out, even though he played over here. My head says that they would take Dal Colle (although I have a feeling Bennett might still be available). This is also presuming that the Flames stay at number four.

the style of play is certainly why torts was fired and he directly caused the team to be banged up far more than they usually were, burrows and santo were prime examples of that, i never said anything about injuries being the reason gillis was fired, the guy was a cancer to the entire organization

You don't know anything about hockey. Tortarella lost the room that night, and I think anyone who knows anything about team sports could have figured that out...which of course leaves you out of the picture.

It has been a while since you posted and seems a lot could change by Friday. If your feeling is right and Bennett is there I think we have to take him, same with Reinhart if he falls.

I just hope we don't go off the board or trade down to take Ritchie. Dal Colle would be a better pick imo, but I still would prefer one of the centers.
