Of all the things that irked me the most in this game. Subban not on the ice in the last minute of play is the worst one. IMO.

And yet, there was Michael Ryder on with Tomas Plekanec and Rene Bourque to protect a one-goal lead with less than a minute to play. No sign of Jeff Halpern, who very well might have been the best Canadien on the night. There was Raphael Diaz instead of Norris candidate P.K. Subban.

I told you he's being out coached 3 games ago.

The Canucks are ramping it up, you need to find Yost and duke it out.

Guys, before you go into the nonsense and the usual other stuff, how about we read the blog, or at least try and discuss the points made in it for a while. Let's try and be normal human beings - just for a bit.

I agree with EE's statement that if the call had been reversed on the ice then that would have stood.

edit: that being said I think that based on the way the rule is written it was a good goal.

Great blog.

These teams are nicely match the difference really seems to be the coaching.

I'll be damned! Carey is not one of the 3 finalists for the Vezinas!!!

Good blog EE, as usual.

Good blog Eric, since I don't think the Habs will win game 5, what change do you think they need to make in the offseason to be a better team next year?

Also, do you think they will make any change or see if this team is better during a full season (which I doubt)?

The choice of personnel in that third period is as mind-boggling as any coaching decision I have ever seen. Even if he is justified keeping #27 on the bench because he is a rookie (and I don't agree if that was his plan), how do you have Ryder on the ice and not Halpern, or even Dumont in the last minute? It is unbelievable to me how this man's coaching has gone downhill since the playoffs started. To me, this is the old Therrien.

So do I. But I am also not sure it was a distinct kicking motion. The icings irk me more than that call. But nothing irks me more than who was on the ice for the tying goal.

Agreed. With all the talks about the Jack Adams race involving both McLean and Terrien, I think it's clear who's the better coach between the two.

this is correct. the bottom like though is that if your team is in the situation the habs were in yesterday, of staring down a barrel, they take a 2-0 lead in the third and they find the most creative ways to blow it then it was pretty much meant to be.

I disagree with almost everything in the blog, except for the parts where you mentioned the names of the players that are hurt.

I disagree that ryder is hurt.

Oh and Alfredesson has been their best player.

Pfff... We all agree that Habs dominated 3 of the 4 games, so all this BS about outcoaching is making me laught. It's clear however that Anderson is better than Carey who really played only one good game (the 2nd).
