capes...

I am sure you aced the exam, but in the highly unlikely event that you did not, I can offer my services to help you with the electric theory portions such as basic PLC ladder logic, AC/DC motor and generator theory, Ohm's Law, Kirchhoff's voltage/current laws and other stuff. Let me know and we can work out some form of cram session via skype (nude, ofc).

tysm

i made a jingle to remember the parts and functions of the various AC/DC machines.

F DC S
(field winding DC on the Stator)
A DC R
(Armature winding DC on the Rotor)

and so on

also remembering which variables to manipulate when paralleling Alternators to transfer power, vars, speed ect.

I COULDNT REMEMBER WITHOUT THE JINGLES THE JINGLES SAVED ME LOL WEEEEEEEEEEE

Only PLC devices that were kind of confusing were the timers. I'd get this overly complicated schematic with a descriptive process and I'd had to tell what would turn on and off and when.

also I'd always mix up the differences between Dynamic and DC injection breaking, plugging and anti-plugging and regenerative line breaking.

The operation of Amortissour windings in AC machines start up.

the differences and connections of 3 phase and single phase motors..

Series, Shunt(long and short) , resistance start, two value capacitor start and split phase capacitor start.

Nothing overly complicated, just lots of memory stuff.

My memory is bad.

they also through Electronics at us for the first time, as well as Fire alarm systems.

Doping to create extrinsic semi conductors

SCR's
Triacs
Diacs
Insulated Gate bipolar transistors

ummmmm VFD and UPS systems as well.

It was a heavy intake, pretty glad it's over although it was really neat doing the labs.

well, if it makes you feel better, I've been in the game for about...18 years now and i don't remember half of the poop on those tests. i bet 90% of long-time journeymen/master electricians couldn't. you will end up getting so narrowed depending on a job, you will forget a lot of that crap.

I remember having to learn about mag-amps, they are in museums now...lol. I focused on mainly UPS systems after the Navy and now, being in utility power, I only need to know about breaker tripping and paralleling sources, current transformers and potential transformers.

If you ever want to give utility ops a shot, we're looking for people. I'd think you'd be a good fit and I could end up training you...LOL...ofc, you'd have to move to not Canada...actually, know anyone in Alberta utility ops?

its never been illegal to say merry christmas to anyone. in the interest of recognizing that not everyone in a country of immigrants from just about every country in the world is a christian, many companies refrained from using the term merry christmas to avoid public outcry of excluding anyone.

the only people who actually think it is now legal to say merry christmas are the neanderthal trumptard who bow at the altar of king cheetos.

now that i have bored both you and i, Merry Christmas, Vag.

i don't follow them. but thanks to Twitter's great design and engineering, my timeline is flooded with likes, suggestions and retweets from people I don't follow but others I follow do follow

I only really went on Twitter to female dog at WestJet for being a colossal failure and terrible poop company who brags about being not poop
