I live on a slight incline so at first I didn't think anything of it and thought it was just someone struggling to get up the road. Well it kept going on so I looked out and there was a car half way into my yard, stuck on a snow mound. So I'm like great, and go to get my boots on. Well as soon as I open the garage there's a fire police SUV that shows up. So I think good they'll help this person. I walk up and they've been talking to the driver. Then they get an emergency call. One of the fireman walk over to me and say this teen girl is hammered. Can you wait here until the police show up, I just called them.

So here I am. Standing next to a car in my yard with some drunk girl's keys in my hands. The girl was 19. She kept saying to me "hey baby let's go. let's jusss go ok baby??" And I'm like yeah we'll go in a couple minutes just waiting on the tow truck.

Then the police showed up and did their sobriety testing and handcuffed her and put her in the back seat. She was bawling at this point.

Yeah a tow truck eventually came like an hour after the police took her to the slammer.

She lives up the street from me because I see her car every once in a while. The front bumper is cracked from when she hit the snow mound. I wave to her, thinking what our lives would have been if I got in the car with her and drove away.
