I think we've venned© on this type of item before.

does Mrs. PSJ do this?

she buys some perishable item from the grocery store, let's say chicken.

OMG chicken goes bad right away so let's put it in the freezer.

what do we have to eat tonight?

well I bought some chicken but it's frozen solid so I'll buy more chicken and we can use the other one another time.

a year later OMG WHY IS THERE A TON (I usually translate it into $$$) OF OLD CHICKEN IN THE FREEZER!!!! *throws out old chicken*

Yes, this occurs quite frequently with a variety of items. 75% of our freezer is made up of foods she and I would never want to eat.

During the holiday break, I decided to just start making a bunch of food that has been sitting here for forever. It is completely safe to eat, but it has not tasted good.

Frozen bags of vegetables, freezer burned meat, ragu tomato sauce. I can tell it's beginning to wear on her, but she can't say anything or it would be an acceptance of my anti-stock up agenda.

I have cleaned out most of the freezer and received this text from her "Can we actually have a nice meal tonight?"

In other news, I am a petty, horrible person

when he is in conversation you can actually see his brain working, taking in, breaking down, and compartmentalizing all the information.

Quick question for you: If a guy raped you, like locked you in a room and forced himself on you, would you settle for money?

Let's suppose you or your wife makes a meal and there are leftovers. What is the number of days that can go by where you can no longer reheat and eat and you must throw it out?

7 days is insanity. you're lucky to even be alive.

3 days tops. 4 if it's an emergency and there's no cheese, fish, or mayo involved.
