The Isles couldn't give away tickets to their NHL games, I doubt the free AHL tickets will be flooded with requests.

I'm not one to give in to trolls, but have you nothing better to do with yourself then write useless posts on other teams comments section? You have been doing it on here a bunch lately and it's kind of childish. Just sayin..

I hope all you guys out on LI/NYC/NJ are safe and not to severely effected by the hurricane. The area of Manhattan where I live was spared from severe damage but a lot of my friends/family weren't so lucky. Really is a shame.

this team averages 5 thousand people a game but more importantly WE ARE GETTING OVER OUR TOWNS BEING DESTROYED ASS MUNCH....this is a good will gesture by the organization and a chance to raise some much needed relief money. some people just have to take shots at all costs...do some (frank)ing research right now...parts of my town DO NOT exist anymore

this is what we are dealing with

Good read Dee (no joke), thanks for sharing. I hope you're all managing ok after the storm.

Wow I can't believe Mr. Arbour is really 80 years old!

Cheers!

It's a good gesture, yes, I didn't say that it wasn't. I merely made fun of the Islanders lack of attendance. I'm well aware what the hurricane did to the eastern seaboard in the United States but that hurricane didn't cause you bad attendance history. If you want to twist my words and make them into some hurricane joke then that's your problem, but I was commenting strictly on hockey.

I get your intent........it wasnt malicious.........but its just bad timing. You have no idea until you've seen the destruction first hand, what has happened. The isles attendance, in an old barn that is going to be gone in 2 years, is irrelevant.

It's bad and seems to be getting worse not better. There are alot of people in bad shape and worse. I have two friends whose houses are gone floating in the bay somewhere and boats are five blocks down the road, yes. On the road smashed to pieces. I havent had heat, power, and now they are saying water contamination in my home since monday with no end in sight and I feel fortunate. Staten Island is destroyed they are finding more and more bodies daily. It's bad.

I don't think many people could watch it right now either though it would be a good distraction for people who could.
