Yeah me too. Not sure how he got the stripes

Needed help in leaf land, and needed more mods with a sense of humor. I'm glad juice is on the job, personally.

I'll be glad when this Jersey/Panthers series is over. It's by far the least interesting series of the first round. You'd think with no lead being safe it would hold my interest. But, not really.

So back on topic.

Where do you guys have Cody penciled in on next seasons roster? Who would he be playing with? Do you guys expect trades that might affect Cody's placement on the roster?

I went to a game in Pittsburgh early in the season. The Pens fans I spoke with sure didn't think Staal was a number one center when Malkin and Crosby were out. That being said he is only 23 so he could break 30 goals at one point. Not sure I would give the farm away. Roy, 1st, and 2nd? What about Sekera and Roy and a 1st for Big Joe Thorton?

#1 Center flanked by Vanek and Pominville. Vanek will be 50-40, Pommer will be 30-50, Cody will be 30-80 on his way to the Hart.

Oddly enough, about the same spot he was in in Vancouver - 3rd ine center with pp time. The emergence of Ennis made this so. He might open the doors for Roy to get moved, however.

He showed some promise with Pominville. I'd expect him there.

As far as trades, Roys most likely to be moved and theres lost of talk of using or 2 first and two seconds to move up in the draft. Vanek's a wild card to be dangled too.

The only line written in ink for the early part of next year is Ennis, Foligno and Stafford.

Makes you wonder if he'll be unhappy and want a trade.

Let's see, we'll have 82-63-21, I'd like to try Cody between Vanek and Pommer, I don't think he had much time with them at all. If we still have Roy, just try Roy, Leino, and gerbe

He's got a much better chance of moving up the depth charts here than in Vancouver. He'll be OK.

It depends if you want him to be a playmaker that scores or a scorer who can make plays. You got Cody to be a star so I would think he'd play with Vanek and Pommer. If they get another established star to tutor Hodgson I would think he will be with Leino and Kaleta or Gerbe

Hodgson still got more playing time here, though. Buffalo rolled their lines once a lot more once Hodgson got here.

I really hope he doesn't play with Kaleta. He needs to be surrounded by talent.

Wouldn't it be ironic that with all the "trap" teams making it to the 2nd round, the grand-daddy of all trap teams gets knocked out in the 1st round?

No kidding. Maybe NBC has the crowd noise turned up to make its seem like people at the game are really excited.

Absolutely, just the on paper element is more or less the same at the end of the season.
