its pretty simple:
1. you unknowingly made a username with a spelling error
2. someone called you out on it
3. you prayed to god that when you checked that someone else had the username with the correct spelling
4. you made up the story about trying to use the correct spelling as a username but it had already been taken so you decided to just say oh well and choose a misspelled username
5. you pray that no one can prove that doppelganger was actually created prior to doppleganger
