What about sens fans who admit they're embarrassed by you? And fans of other teams, like Edmonton, anaheim, Philadelphia, montreal, etc. who laugh at the idiocy of your comments?

Are they also just a part of the "leafs troll patrol"?

He's good enough to do it. But he's injured.

Do you think the Sens will be 3 points back of the Leafs after tonight, or 5?

- prock

Well I'm glad they managed to pick up some points in the mean-time but they better get him back soon. No one else has had any trouble with the 0s.

Hopefully Reimer hasn't hung out with Connolly too much.

There you go. There's the proof. You think Ottawa is better than they are. they don't stand a chance of being anything but last.... by a distance... in the Northeast.

LOL.

The first was in part due to double coverage on OV. It opened up some space for Backstrom, and they just backed the D up right in. The second goal was a beauty feed by OV..... . The third goal was a direct result of a big phuckup by Karlsson, leaving a two on one against.

On top of that, Ovechkin had 2 point blank chances spoiled by Anderson. One of which was a breakaway.

4 hours earlier Verizon Centre was hosting a Georgetown Hoyas basket-ball game. But I mean, whatever, it probably wasn't that because Karlsson regularly falls over while skating backward.

Looks like Murray played his cards right at the 2009 Entry draft.

Jared Cowen scored his third NHL goal last night, in his 32nd NHL game. Yes, it was 2 games more than it took Nazem Kadri to score his third NHL goal, but it looks more and more like Ottawa drafted a full time NHLer while Nazem Kadri still has to claim a roster spot on the leafs.

Yes it helps that Ottawa has had a number of injuries on the Blueline allowing Cowan to play himself into a top four position for most of the season so far, while Nazem Kadri has a tougher line up to crack.

Perhaps a full season and an extended playoff run while speed along Kadri's development.

LOL. He's got 6 points. Just 6. In over 30 games. That's really not very good. And he's obviously not exactly a rock defensively. No one is on that team, judging by the number of goals that get scored there.

Yes, they are the team that has allowed the most goals in the NHL, and yet they are only 3 points behind your beloved leafs.

All the while Milan Michalek leads the NHL in goals scored, Karlsson leads all defensmen in points, and is second overall in assists. But, they can't stop coughing up the puck and giving away scoring chances and goals, in the defensive zone.

Anyways, he leads the defense men in Ottawa with three goals, and no defense men in toronto have scored more.

What is your point?

He is playing in a top 4 position and has 6 points. I am not saying he is doing bad, but why are you trying to compare him to a guy that is playing a completely different position, in a completely different league, in Kadri?

Also, when you continually say that you don't troll a team, but bring up comparisons with another team's playerz constantly, trying to point out how much worse they are, I consider that trolling. And no, it doesn't matter if you are in an Ottawa forum, Vancouver forum, Chicago forum, or Leafs forum. You can troll from any of them.

The comparisons between Cowan and Kadri have been going on for a few years in these forums, and was started by some leaf who bevel that Murray was fleeced by Burke when he was asked who was intending on selecting in the first round of the 2009 entry draft.

This is a Senators forum and I'm comparing the two players, once again, as has been done many times in the past in various threads.

Many leaf fans have been comparing these two players, so if you have a problem with me doing it, then you have a problem with them as well. Tit for tat.

So I guess if I point out ( in the Senators forum ) that Michalek has scored more goals than Kessel, it's trolling???

Wow, you must have a thin skin.

this is what most people see as "trolling"

A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response.

I don't have a problem with someone trying to make a comparison between 2 players, but when someone jumps on 2 players, with little to no NHL experience, and wants to outright say this one is dong way better than this one, when they reach such a minor milestone (i.e. 3 goals), it annoys me.

Both players are just fine, and doing well in their respective leagues.

Please stop being stupid on purpose.

I don't consider it trolling when you make a comparison between Kessel and Michalek as they are wingers and close to the league lead in goals (i.e. they have things to compare)

The same way WAS fans would understand if you made a comparison of Filatov with Semin as they seem to have similar work ethics, similar background, etc... If you started saying something like 'Filatov has accomplished more than Kadri... blah blah blah' you are doing it to annoy people, as the two players have very little in common, and saying that you just 'Randomly' chose Kadri, is not believable at all.

I also can note how every comparison you make with Ottawa players seems to be with a Leaf player (but that must just be a coincidence)

You know why you bring up Leaf players, say what you want. Ottawa forum or not, when you have a title that specifically targets Leaf fans, again you know what you are doing.

That is all

did you also know that Karlsson leads all defenseman in the league in being on the ice for even strength goals against.

In fact, even if you count goals against while on the PK, only Duncan Keith has been on the ice for more goals against. But, you have to think that the fact that he plays over 26 minutes a night, with significant PK time, sort of contributes to that, wouldn't you?

Defensively, Erik Karlsson is one of the worst defenseman in the league. But keep referencing those points. While he keeps costing the Sens games because he can't play D.

While not trying to target Karlsson here (even though he is a good example), this is why I do not put a ton of weight on the offensive contributions Defence make, without first analysing their defensive contributions.

A player that is responsible for 80 points for his team, but is also responsible for 100+ points against his team, is not useful at all IMO.

Particularly true for D.

And Erik Karlsson is, quite legitimately, one of the worst defenders in the NHL. He's useless in his own zone.

I consider it a stat that should be applied across the board for both D and forward, but yes more for D because you are closer to being the last line of defence from a goal.

Erik Karlsson is definately a good example, just as Kaberle was when he was a leaf.

There are plenty of those defenceman that I have trouble seeing the value everyone else does.

LOL. I hear he once stifled Ovechkin to the point that OV only got 7 shots on net that night.
