Don't know if I posted these yet, but I've been enjoying them for the last couple of months...

Good beers. I prefer Propeller ESB over their IPA but you can't go wrong either way.

It's funny seeing that Anchor Beer. I just watched an old beer show with Michael Jackson from '89 (the beer/whisky reviewer, not the singer lol) and they showed Anchor Brewery quite a bit in the California section of the series. I ended up picking some up after seeing it. Haven't tried one yet though.

Here are some more readily available Ontario beers that I've really been liking:

The Denison's is one of the better Weissebier's I've had. Better than Hacker-Pschorr Weisse, Weihenstephaner Weisse, Schneider Weisse, and Paulaner Weisse imo. I like all those beers though. So tasty when I'm in the mood for something a bit lighter in taste than usual but not macro lager type tasteless lol.

Yea, I posted the wrong pic, I had the esb.

I'll give those ones a try when I see them... How does the atomic IPA compare to the optical illusion?

Btw, muskoka's harvest ale is really good also

Smash Bomb is basically Hoptical Illusion but on steroids lol. I think it loses some of the balance that Hoptical Illusion has because it's so hoppy but I still like it more than Hoptical Illusion.

I haven't seen the Muskoka's Harvest ale yet. Is it a seasonal beer? I got a bunch of those earlier. Great Lakes Pumpkin Ale, Southern Tier Pumking, and St Ambroise Pumpkin/Harvest Ale. I haven't tried any of them yet so they might not be any good lol. I am looking forward to having them though.

The Ola Dubh 12 was basically just a really nice Porter with a bit of a light smokey Scotch finish. Too expensive to really buy more than once for me though. $6 for a tiny bottle.

The Innis and Gunn was pretty decent as well. Kind of tasted like dates or raisins with some vanilla and malty sweetness. Much sweeter than I'd generally like but it was enjoyable.

Yea it's seasonal, truth be told, I had it with a bunch of other things, so I can't really remember much more than that I liked it

Btw, since there was some whiskey talk earlier... I picked this up a few weeks ago, and I'm liking it. Not a huge whiskey drinker, but from what I can tell, this is pretty good.

The only Canadian Whisky that I like is Forty Creek and Alberta Premium. I haven't had the one in your picture though. Never even heard of it to be honest lol.

I had one of these over supper on the weekend after not having one since the LCBO had their little Chimay taster pack a few years ago. I still think Chimay beers in general are overrated but it was pretty enjoyable. I ended up having the whole thing for myself because nobody else wanted any. People and their lagers lol.

So true. ESB, London Pride, London Porter, and especially 1845 are all amazing. All the Fullers beer I've had have been good.

Had the Lake of Bays Rouse Ale. Really good. I recommend it.

I saw it last night but I picked up a 6 of Mad Tom instead lol. I should try it before it's sold out though. Looked like there were only three or four 6 packs of the rousse ale left.

I hate when people do that.. except when it's me lol. I'm pretty close to the Beaches LCBO in Toronto and it has every good beer available at the LCBO in huge quantities usually so I don't have to do that very often. I'm lucky.
