also, on thursday night i stopped on the way home and grabbed a six pack of these because it's been a couple years.

anyway, it's okay. not their best beer. the crisp is much better and that's a pilsner so i'm supposed to like this more. more hops, less malt please.

i mean it's good. it's a nice solid beer. nothing really stands out about it but it's a good beer that's really easy to drink.

it matches my kitchen really well.

i had a tonewood revolution porter and i must say it was sensational. also, it's made with local revolution coffee, so i'm like helping the community or something.

also, an evil genius "these pretzel are making me thirsty", and yes that was the name of the beer. unfortunately, it literally tasted like nothing. which was crazy because it was a dark AF beer so it is almost impossible to do this but it tasted like a glass of water.

also also, the winner of the night was tonewood stratacaster. this was a double IPA but finally someone realized that they can double the hops without necessarily doubling the abv. this was deliciously hoppy and everything i love but it was only 6.2% i think. real real good.

i had a firestone walker luponic distortion #14. it was good but some of the others (you know, 1-13, were better)

a ballast point passing haze, which was very good.

also a firestone walker coconut merlin. it's better than it sounds.

also also, another of my major winners from this past summer, a dogfish head truth serum. this is an off the charts great beer if you like IPAs.

i had another couple dogfish head truth serums, a tonewood freshies, and then the surprise of all amazing surprises happened. i was moving a 12 pack of bell's two hearted ale (sounds like someone really awesome stocks the fridge at this place, doesn't it?) when behind it i found one single solitary guayabera.

what a day.

Gahan House last night with the boys after 8 days of being on strike.

Vic Park Pale Ale was excellent. Iron bridge brown Ale was also very good. I also had a few scotch, really enjoyed the Balvenie 15.

oh, also. i sampled the pumking and it's good this year. spicy, sure. but mostly sweet and creamy like pumpkin pie, which is what i always loved about it. i wouldn't want to sit and drink 2 or 3 of them but if i'm going to drink a pumpkin beer it's gonna be pumking every time.

EDIT: also, these guys are cool.

i mean, i'd hang out with those guys.

i'm honestly the worst gauge in he world when it comes to pumpkin beers. if it's even drinkable i'll probably say it's good because i hate most of them so much. i just try to produce content that might start a conversation. eklund should probably pay me. so i'm not one to listen to as far as pumpkin beers go. if shvinggy says it's bad, it's most likely bad.
