quick csb moment
I was original staff at the Continental. When we were preparing to open, we set the liquor bottles in specific placements. Chartreuse was on the top shelf farthest away from where either bartender could get it. Over a year passes, and the thing still wasnt opened so I opened it and poured a shot. The instant it hit my lips, I almost vomited. I spit the rest all over the bar and the Manager told me I was banned from any staff drinks until further notice

Southern Tier LakeShore Fog Hazy IPA

Streit2TheReview

I haven't done a beer review in a while, mainly because I've been drinking the 10/10 S2TP All Day IPA from Founders. Picked up a variety pack of Southern Tier IPAs and grabbed this one. I think I've had a couple hazy IPAs before but forgot what they tasted like. I cracked the can open and almost threw it out and vomited. The can was stored upside down and all the sediment congealed to the top so when I opened the can there was this green mucas looking stuff. I poured the can into a glass and boy was it hazy. The smell was amazing though. Huge notes of citrus and earthy pine. I took a sip and immediately punched with citrus hops. It's so smooth too. Goes down easy and has great taste. Very close second to All Day as being my favorite.

southern tier has always been really good but not great to me. maybe the stuff we get here isn't as fresh as it should be though.

i actually feel the exact same way about them.

but i'm definitely willing to give this one a try because the tonewood fuego was a hazy, citrusy ipa and i loved it. (i didn't realize there was sediment when i did my expert user review but i noticed it on my next one). so i'm looking forward to trying this.

they had a milk stout that i would have loved but the abv was turned up just a little more than i like. that was probably as close as i've come to a southern tier beer that i loved.

They say to drink IPAs within three months of it being bottled/canned. This one was canned on 2/28

That moment when your friend buys the Rickards taster pack and all that's left is Honey Brown Ale.

lol nah

It's actual raspberries. Not a very strong flavor, just enough to make it a bit sweet.
