alright. so i finally got to try this. in a lesbian bar, no less.

they don't put dates on their beer so I've never trusted any liquor store enough to buy it. i've always heard good things but didn't want some store to ruin it for me like that store ruined oskar blues ipa for me.

i ended up drinking three. two at the same time at one point. so it's pretty good.

i'd give this 8.10 s2tp's.

gotta do it with ipas. it's a weird style. too fresh and they are sometimes cat pissy, too stale and they can become malt bombs and taste mediocre. i had a stale bottle of le castor yakima ipa once that tasted like liquid bread. it's normally one of my favs

I always check dates. I had a bad experience once when I bought a case of beer (forget what it was tbh) and it was 3 months past the best drink by date on the beer. I know it wasn't the beers fault, it was the beer store's, but since then I always check the dates.

Especially with IPAs, you want to enjoy them within a couple months of the date on the bottle. IMHO.

After being my favorite for 1 or 2 years I switched to their session IPA (yellow one) as my new favorite.

I've been going through a dry spell. Maybe have 4 beers a month except that one night.

I need a dry spell in the new year. I've been going through a very wet spell where I drink about 50 per week.
