I haven't had it in a couple years so it might be different now but in the past it was a good beer. Not mind blowing but still good. I don't think they're making any money off them though which is unfortunate. It's a very expensive beer to make I was told.

sixpoint brewery - the crisp

wasn't really expecting much but this was delicious.

i expected some trendy weird uber craft beer, especially when i saw the can.

but this was good and if i see it again i'll buy it again. the word "biscuity" in beer reviews has never made more sense to me.

8.5 s2tp's

- kicksave856

bump

this is the best lager in my world.

it should be a little bit higher than that 8.5 s2tp's

i suggested the oskar blues little yellow pils, the dale's pale ale, the founders all day ipa, and the sixpoint sweet action.

i just wanted to make sure i suggested the right ones for german food. they seem like good calls to me but you guys know more than i do about this stuff.

i feel like we're all on the same kind of page here so i must have suggested the right beers.

he was all talking about an 8 dollar youngs double chocolate stout (i excluded that list because most of the beers on it looked poopty) and i was like "no, you can't do that"

he's just learning. been a wine drinker all his life.

he knows what he doesn't like ("ipa's taste like soap!") and is feeling his way around to see what he does like. i know he'll like lagers and pilsners and stuff like that because the only beer he knows from growing up is the usual stuff your dad would have around like coors and pabst and stroh's and poop like that.

gonna start working with him soon on the american pale ales versus the IPA's and how a california pale ale won't taste like soap to him just because pale ale is written on the label.
