Tried the White Ale. Wasn't a fan, the lack of carbonation didn't mesh well with the style. The beer itself was good though.

Thanks for your input. I remember trying a nitro beer at a bar that serves tons of microbrews but I couldn't remember how it tasted. I wonder if the stout would be more well suited for this style.

Nitro is great with stouts/imperial stouts. Dieu du Ciel always has their Péché Mortel on nitro at the brewpub and it's amazing. Can be a good fit with IPAs, but it hides the bitterness, so the beer can come out as too sweet.

they are the worst

Wife brought home apple mead for Valentines, she thought it would be good and I'd be excited to try it. Took one look, saw Trafalgar, and told her to get that poop out of the house.

She did also get a Nickel Brook Kentucky Bastard for me, so it wasn't a complete disaster.
