Wasn't too bad. Typically not a huge fan of wheat beers but this one was pretty mild. Nice watermelon taste, refreshing IMO.

dunno if you can get it in the states, but try KLB Raspberry Wheat.

As far as fruit/wheat beers go, it's pretty damn good.

When I was in New Orleans last year Abita beer was the only local stuff that was on tap and wasn't Coors, Bud and the other usual poop. It's tolerable. Their IPA was ok, their lager alright. Have to give props since they were competing with Pabst and the other poop for the drink of choice of cockbags and female genitalias.

It has an aluminum sweet corn taste and smell. Plus it has some nasty hay touches in there as well. A step up from piss.

New brett farmhouse by Castor. I imagine that's what fresh Orval tastes in Belgium.

Not the biggest fan of the style... but as far as beers go, it's hard to find a better way to get drunk:

If I plan on getting drunk, now I usually go for bourbon or gin. Having 10 beers will just make me a big blob of fat.

A lot of beer geeks in Quebec are snobbing the Fin du Monde and other Unibroue beers, but (frank) they're good (and cheap).

I got your back here Mike.

Assuming you're shotgunning those little (frank)ers. If you're not shotgunning, then you're on your own and I take it back.

And you gotta take your shirt off too. Just in case the freak shotgunning beside you doesn't understand what the (frank) he's doing.

It does taste like poop though.

I've had month old Orval, I imagine it's basically the same as it is in Belgium fresh at that point. I prefer it at a year or older though.

That brett farmhouse better not be a limited release.

I agressively sneer on the sidelines while friends participate.

Full disclosure: I have played, and enjoyed myself. But I prefer to sneer these days.
