the beer price thing is silly anyway, it's only cheaper if you're buying macro stuff. what quebec does have is amazing quebec made beer you cant get anywhere else though. thats what makes it awesome for buying beer

listen, these guys... this is their way of dealing that Philly is as bad or worse than TO. never apologize to these guys. Christ, they may as well be living in Ottawa. Philly is the Ottawa of Canada if Canada didn't have poutine and sorry and all that.

Not when the price difference is anywhere between $10 to $15 a case of 24, depending on which brand you buy.

We're not talking about any long distances here. The Airport, which is located at the south end of Ottawa is only 6 miles from Quebec, and the majority of people work within a mile or two of the nearest bridge to Quebec, and with such difference in price per case, it's well worth the trip.

Wells & Young's Banana Bread Beer

Nice dessert beer. Obviously has a banana smell and taste. Not typically a huge fan of flavored beers but this one is pretty good. Not overpowering.

Brewery Ommegang Valar Morghulis Dubbel Ale (a Game of Thrones beer)

This was alright, probs wouldn't buy it again. Has a cherry malty taste.

I would agree that it is not as good as I've heard/read about. But as far as a flavored beer (banana, grapefruit, watermelon, what have you) it's not terrible.

I found the GOT's beers to be good, but overpriced due to the licence fee. Sad really, it's a 4 dollar beer masquerading as an 8 dollar one. Might as well just get St. Bernardus
