they like those dreams where you're being chased by someone bad and all of a sudden you're flying but then you realize there are power lines everywhere and you're afraid you might get electrocuted and you wake up.

ya, that kind of dreamy.

do you think the pop up about ad blocking and hurting the website was the re-design and facelift?

no. i think the re-design was a lie to try to get people to not riot over the cleansing of the boob pics.

i don't think there's a re-design in the works and if there is it definitely was never planned for this past october.

You’re probably busy, so we’ll get right to it. This week we ask our readers to help us. To protect our independence, we'll never run ads. We survive on donations. Only a tiny portion of our readers give. Now is the time we ask. If everyone reading this gave $3, our fundraiser would be done within an hour. Yep, that’s about the price of buying a programmer a coffee. We’re a small non-profit with costs of a top website: servers, staff and programs. Wikipedia is something special. It is like a library or a public park, a temple for the mind where we can all go to think and learn. When we founded Wikipedia, we could have made it a for-profit company with advertising, but we decided to do something different. Commerce is fine. Advertising is not evil. But it doesn’t belong here. If Wikipedia is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online and ad-free another year.

Thank you.

I count on the idiot that donates $6 so I don't have to bother giving them $3 myself

i don't give them money either, but if you're going to run ads on the site don't cry poor. and definitely don't whine about users blocking the ads. that's embarrassing.

There's a small local brewery that makes a Jalapeno Lime pale ale that's pretty damn good. It has the taste of the jalapeno but it doesn't give a spicy or burning taste/sensation. And there's a small taste of lime at the end.

I had a chipotle porter once. I wanted to punch the brew master in the face.

The only thing that beer was good for was keeping warm when it's below zero.

Never had a porter or stout with a chili taste. I get that chocolate and peppers/chilis are a popular taste right now, but I'm not sure about beer...

Paddockwood out of Saskatoon makes a strong Chocolate Stout with a bit of Cayenne. It's alright for a taste but can't drink a whole lot of it.
