Maybe it was because I was too young, or get sick around cigarettes, but that was the one I tried and puked
- AdamFrench

Nah, lots of people don't like it. I brought some to a party once and everyone who likes the same kind of beer as me thought it was (frank)ing vile but the lager drinkers were all "HOLY poop I DONT EVEN HAVE TO EAT IF I DRINK THIS, ITS LIKE LIQUID HAM" and they loved it. I don't think it tastes like ham or anything weird but yeah lol.

That probably says a lot about the beer really. I'm kind of weird for liking it I guess.

Unibroue will release a new beer next week, the Resolution. According to their sommelier, it'll be a dark brown, extra strong, lot of spices, very balanced, a nice, big Unibroue beer like they haven't released in some time.
- EssuieToutJeune

I hope it tastes like a Unibroue version of Hibernus.

Had a Deschute's Inversion IPA last night. Pretty good IPA. Little bit of a pine taste, not over powering. I would get this again.

Speaking of Deschutes ... I brought back a bottle of this from our Road Trip to Montana

Our 26th anniversary Imperial Porter was aged in bourbon barrels and dry spiced with Theo Chocolate's cocoa nibs, revealing hints of vanilla and chocolate. Pomegranate molasses and Oregon cranberries complement the robust flavor with a hint of fruit and just enough tart to make you smile.

Now to let it age a year

Kick, I had that dogfish head India brown ale - I think you were talking about. It's raised the number of brown ales I like to 1. It was really quite good.

You were right, I was wrong. You are smart, I am dumb. You've got great hair, I'm about 2 weeks overdue for a cut...

I find most brown ales have this gnarly, muddy aftertaste that just makes them
unpleasant to drink, but this was downright refreshing. I had one before a large glass of chilled chipotle vodka and am looking forward to another tonight.

Ohh, so it's an old recipe that they've resurrected. That's pretty cool.

loved the whole article and the beer

"working man's champagne"

and the bit about the historic yeast found banked at the university that was helping him recreate the beer

This is a Black and Tan made with Southern Tier Pumking and Warlock. It's delicious. It should be called "The Great Pumpkin".

That's the name of a beer made by heavy seas. They also make the greater pumpkin, that one is awesome.
