never been into casks, i guess i just never see a type i like ? i generally ignore the cask at my regular.
- -davies-

They're like bottle conditioned beers in keg form basically. Unfiltered and unpasteurized and they mature in the casks. A lot of my fav beers I've had were better on cask than tap or bottle, though a few were not as good on cask so I guess it depends.

edit: Stone is confirmed for cask days as well. Cool.

i like a lot of their beers but this one is kind of disappointing. it's not terrible but something is off. i have one more in the fridge and i'll drink it but i won't buy it again.

I love it for drinking a glass, two tops. Strong coffee/chocolate taste. Little peanut butter taste at the end.

If you enjoy coffee flavored porters or want to try something different/unique, yes I would highly recommend.

Kicksave, you should try this.

I will probs try it but haven't seen it around for a while. Or maybe I just haven't been paying attention.

i have and reviewed it a few months ago.

i feel the same way. it was delicious. but it's a dessert beer. you don't buy a six pack and sit and drink three of them. it's like a treat you enjoy every once in a while.

Bad over-yeast taste. Need to think back on what I did - may have added too much sugar (honey) by volume prior to bottling - gave those little bastards too much fuel to breed.

In the last year, more Bud Light has been sold in the United States than any other beer ($5.28 billion at retail). One out of every five beers bought is a Bud Light.

americans are the dumbest people i know.

i blame alabama crimson tide fans. i don't have anything against their football team but i picture their tailgayte parties as a bunch of sunburned people with bushy goatees and camoflage hats drinking bud light cans.

it's scary.

Yeah, using honey as a priming sugar is tricky. Was the other way around for my Belgian Pale Ale. Even after three weeks the CO2 concentration wasn't high enough. Will go back to table sugar.
