Interchangable players between the Bills and Sabres???? That's a good plan.

Why can't they change that rule, let them kick it in.

Eh. I'm lop sided on the subject. I can see that they wan'na keep players from kicking the hell out of each other infront of the net but also I think some of the calls don't have any consistency.

I'm having another BBQ today (Have tomorrow off for Independence day). Trying to decide what beer to purchase. I'm still very much favoring Brooklyn Brewery's "Brooklyner Wiesse" cause you can have a ton at one time and they taste great. However I'm really digging New Castle Lately... I'm kinda' torn. I'm still in search for Brooklyn Brewery's Dark Chocolate Stout but haven't found it around here. I think I might have to travel to get my hands on it.

Oh and buy the way. Blue Moon blows. Atleast to me. They serve it with a twist of orange and they tell you to squeeze the orange juice into the beer then drink it. I just didn't like it at all. It's just not beer to me.

I told you it's trendy, mostly a chick beer! They seem to like fruit in their beers. I did the steaks with Kosher salt the other day, very good trick nice flavor and seem to tenderize as well.

If I'm a goalie I don't want guys with razors on their feet kicking anywhere near me. We'd have a Clint Malarchuk all over again.

See told ya' it's not bad

I mean there are many other ways to marinate the steaks to add flavor but I perfer it that way.

Yeah I'm definatly not a fan of Blue Moon. I had it over at Dave and Buster's this weekend. That place is great!!! They have like 20 different beers on tap plus a ton bottled!!! It really is the Chuck E Cheese for adults!

I played goalie too, my problem is that the rule is very hard to interpret. I don't approve of a kick like in kick ball but I do think that a re-direct should be allowed. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.

I happen to agree that redirects should be allowed. If you're that skilled, it should count. However, I think the kicking that would get into the game if that was allowed is more dangerous than the controversy we have now whether to allow a goal every now and then.

I tried a new one yesterday - 2 Below Ale - from New Belgium - same guys that do Fat Tire. It was pretty good - amber colored, nice aroma. But I'm not sure it will become a regular in my rotation though.

You're in Bud country, do the neighbors give you grief? I used to live in West County, Wildwood, had a neighbor who was in PR for AB, he would not go to a function serving anything but! Good news is he supplied all the product.

Exactly! If it's cold and free you can't complain. The only other beer he would drink was Bass, he figured it was around well before AB and did like the taste! How was the cook out?

Went well, everyone showed we all had a good time. Tons of beer. Only good part is no one wants to dig through the cooler to put wet bottle back in to a cardboard box to lug home so I keep all the left over.

The variety was as such. The Canada boy brought of course Molson Ice. Followed by my buddy and his girlfriend bringing Miller Lite. And me of course going out and chasing Brooklyer Wiesse. So that rounded off the beers that were there. So it worked well. Burgers and Hot dogs. Just sucked that it rained on July 4th in our area so we couldn't repeat the next day lots of left over food.

It rained here as well, barely got 18 holes in! The last three were right out of Caddy Shack. It's still pouring today, glad I did not take the day off! Had some outstanding ribs at the bro-in law's and the hot tub- rain combination wasn"t bad!

I made sure to have a couple Bud Lights too, but I really am not a big fan of that or Bud. We were actually in Ballwin, not too far from your old digs.

My father-in-law does a lot of video work for A-B and always gets free samples, so I have to be careful there too. Good news is that since the deal with InBev he has been getting Bass, Stella and other foreign stuff which is more my taste.

It's interesting that my friend was also fond of Bass. That was 1999 I wonder if he had advance notice. I am not a fan of A-B products but they certainly know how to market and sell!

Just for Ottawa residents.

Was just over in Gatineau (Costco) for a "beer run" and paid $31.99 for 24 of Bitburger (500ml cans), and $21.62 for 24 Harp Lager (330ml cans).

With can deposit (Quebec) and tax my total was $68.29, and when cans are returned $68.29 - $7.20 = $61.09 total cost.

The Beer Store in Ottawa, or the LCBO cannot beat these prices.

Why exclude the rest of us? I can be there in 5 hours! I will be vacationing on the beautiful Canadian shores of Lake Erie at the end of the month what should I expect to pay for a case of beer? When I was youngster we used to go to canada to buy all the different types of home grown brews and they were actually cheap (circa 1980). Now Canadians come over the boarder because their beer and licquor is cheaper here.
