i had one of these and i was really scared. but it turned out it was drinkable.

if you go into it with the proper fear that it's going to be terrible you'll do okay by comparison.

it kind of tasted like banana.

That was the first one I've had from them but now I'm interested in their other stuff.

Crappy deal with their kegs.

Far enough east of church that the risk drops off

I'm upset with the person who did the tour though... place has 2 patios and they didn't show either.

We just don't get anything from them here ever. This was the first time it's been in Ontario as far as I know.

It's definitely close enough to Carlton and Jarvis for there to be a chance of it being a man at least. I lived in an apartment on Carlton across from Allan Gardens for a year a while back so I've seen some pretty interesting things lol. The crap you'd see and hear when sitting on the balcony at night would put anything you see on reality TV to shame.

It was in a convenient spot and everything but I don't think I'd want to live in the downtown area again. It's too crazy there.

when we first moved in, we went down to the burger place for a bite... and watched out the window as a guy took a leak into a cup, in the middle of teh sidewalk... and then poured it into a can... and then gargled the contents of the can, and then left it on the stairs.

...and then another homeless guy sat down, lit up a cigarette, saw the can, and took a swig. Didn't even react. Just put it down slowly and continued to smoke.

Have you tried 100th meridian organic yet?

Tastes like an IPA, with all the floral hoppy flavours, minus the bitterness.

Mill St. Belgian Cherry IPA. Also pretty good. Nice black cherry sweetness, mixed with the IPA bitterness.

7% doesn't hurt either.

why does more alcohol make it better for some people?

serious question, btw. i only ask because i noticed that i seem to like most of my beers under 6 or 6.5 and i don't really know why. i think maybe i feel like i can taste the beer better or something that way.

also, PM me a crash course on corsi when you get a chance. just the basics. ty. i mean i get it but i don't really get it.

Generally speaking the higher the ABV the maltier a beer is which leads to more complex or intense flavours.

I don't go out of my way to try Mill Street beers to be honest. They haven't made a new beer that interested me since probably Tankhouse lol.
