Pumpkin pie vs gingerbread cookies. I like pumpkin pie more so I think I will still like pumking the most but we will see.

What does gingerbread have to do with this?

Just tried this beauty the other day. One of the smoothest Imperial IPAs I've ever had. The alcohol is high and it tastes damn good. If you see it anywhere give it a shot.

- flamminghead

Good brewery, the regular Ruby is quite good so I'd imagine this would be tasty too!

So the LCBO decided to offer us almost 1 year old bottles of these this year. It's still really good but it's significantly better fresh if you're a fan of north american hops.

Disappointing.

Keystone is oddly not bad for a cheap beer.

I thought you said it was a rarity where you were!

We get all their stuff on tap all the time here and I'm kind of meh about it. Most of their good beers are better aged. They are too fresh on tap.

Went to the only for the first time on Saturday... Had peche mortel on tap. Not too shabby.

Also, there's a place on Carlton with a bunch of good local beers on tap, and a rotating cask called the irv. Cheep rail on Saturdays, too... Which is convenient.

It's called the irv, apparently the food's good too, but haven't given it a shot yet.

They reduce the TTC fares on Saturdays in toronto? If so that's a good idea to get people to leave cars at home to reduce the temptation of D&Ding.

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale.

Brewed only in Nova Scotia.

"Those who like it, like it a lot."

- Jimbo976

I have a deep love for Keiths. Unfortunately, they've expanded where they brew it. Outside of Nova Scotia, it just doesn't taste quite the same.

Peche on nitro is always nice. I haven't gone there much this summer myself because their selection has mostly all been stuff I've already tried and I like trying new things. Once they get away from the summer-y stuff again I'll be going more often again.

Where on Carlton is that?

between Sherbourne and Parliment. It's a gastropub with 2 patios on a street corner.

Apparently their short ribs are awesome.

Ohh it's what replaced that restaurant that used to have the Duvel sign in front. I kind of regretted not going to the old place. Yeah I'll probably check it out eventually since I have a friend in that area.

there's another place called Stout closer to Parliment. Don't remember the beer list. Or the menu. But they have board games, and a back patio covered in turf, and awesome sweet potato fries.
