That was a nice list last night.

I had Moralite, Derniere Volonte, and Grande Noirceur. Tried Blanche Neige, and Rigor Mortis ABT.

Everything was good but I was surprised at how much I liked Blanche Neige.

It needs to prime in the bottle for another week, but I think I'd lower the duration of the first round of hops boil next time by 5-10 minutes.

Could just use less hops at 60 minutes too, if its too bitter. It'll also mellow out a bit after bottle conditioning for a few weeks.

Yep, I'm going to hold off judgment till next weekend. It's my first ever batch so I also won't beat myself up if it's nasty swill.

I credit the color to the fact that this was actual malted barley, vs a can. More of a pain in the ass but I'm thinking it's worth it.

Thanks for the support and tips all.

It turned out pretty great, actually! Great color, plenty of bubble and head, and a pretty nice, grainy biscuit flavor with a clean finish. Quite pleased, stout up next.
