A case of 24 Budwesier in Ontario is $38.95

If I travel 25 minutes from my house into Upstate NY I can get 24 Yuengling for $17.95

- the_cause2000

Budwieser is crap beer. Canada did you a favor by pricing it too high.

From last night. Pretty decent, a little overload on the hop bitter, but they did have a really nice flavour/aroma. I think for this line they grew all their own hops & malt which is pretty cool.

Super smooth, sweet, lots of peat, some good smoke in the aftertaste.

Mmmm only $26,000 for a Scotch that's about 35 years past its prime. Where do I sign up?

Started with the centennial, followed by the night feature, a bourbon aged double ipa called "doom", and finishing with the stout (don't care for scotch style ales). Along with a glass and all the free wings I can eat.

Good night.

My honest take, a bit heavy on the bourbon. Very tasty overall, but I was expecting the malt to take over like with the Arrogant Bastard bourbon aged - this, the primary nose was bourbon and the second flavor is too.

Well worth trying, but short of their Centennial and Stout, IMO.

From my experience they seem to peak at 15-16 years. My experience is limited but I've heard the same from others who've felt the same. I'd rather spend the money on an old bottle of something younger if I were to spend a lot on a scotch.

Edit: older ones should be called woodsky rather than whisky lol

I still have a mostly full bottle of lagavulin 16. Good stuff. Prefer ardbeg and laphroaig personally even though they're a bit rough around the edges. I kind of like the extremes with my islays.

It's pretty peaty for sure. My quarter cask (laphroaig) and ardbeg 10 are even more smokey though. I like them.

Ardbeg Uigeadail (definitely spelled it wrong) is my favourite Scotch I've had so far.
