HI

- Don'tForgetTocchet

We don't get Founder's beers here but I've heard it rivals Fullers London Porter. I'd like to try it.

I haven't had a Young's from a can yet but it's definitely possible. Is it a nitro can? If so for sure there'd be a difference just from that. You'd get a creamy beer at the cost of aroma.
- daeth

yes, it is a nitro can. i feel like you could really taste the chocolate more in the can. in the bottle you could tell it was there, but you couldn't really taste it (if that makes any sense).

it also did seem thinner in the bottle.

Had a bottle the other night too, never tried the can. Seemed thin to me as well, was okay, nothing to write home about. Smelled super chocolatey from the aroma but more coffee bitter than chocolate in flavour.

They used to sell it in cans here but I always just bought it in bottles. Now they only sell it in bottles.. I missed out I guess.

Man, the difference between draught and bottle is starting to piss me off. I'll drink an awesome beer in a bar, go buy some bottles of the same thing, only to find it has none of the awesomeness that it had on tap.

Cask is even worse. It makes mediocre beers amazing, especially IPAs.
