When we invade, you will learn the metric system. Or die.

the holzer is the lumberjack and the deer locking horns is the doppelbock

you sir have a good good beer store

- Don'tForgetTocchet

Nice glasses!

The LCBO (basically our only source of good beer in Ontario) has its moments. It's definitely way better than it was ~8 years ago anyway. Every few months we get a bunch of new beers and at least a few of them are interesting. The only problem is that almost all of those are seasonal and once they're out of stock I never see them again.

I am a fan of the 90-minute, but this is another league, IMO. The balance of the malt is just... incredible. Grapefruit on the palate and in the nose, the malt gives it a soft yet crisp quality, ridiculously drinkable for a double.

If I ever find it I'll post my thoughts on it. Probably won't be for quite a while though.

very good stuff. alot like other good quality imperial/double IPAs.

big citrusy/grapefruity hop blast. 8.5% and has a nice malt character.

Trust me, the LCBO is far better than the SAQ in Québec.

But we have a lot of independant beer stores

i'm not a big CGI person. not that i dont like fantasy or using it to expand upon a storyline in a movie, but it was almost too much in the last 3 movies.

CGI is fine, it was the acting/writing/directing that ruined the prequels.

And Jar Jar Binks.

we just had some limited release Firestone Walker beer, an anniversary joint of some type. just sold the last two bottles Friday. nothing rare though, like say Westy 12 or anything like that. get the occasional 4 pack of Skull Splitter, tons of Gulden Drak and Piraat. my store is one of the bigger ones so there's always a huge selection. really dominated by macro sales though. Genny, Labatt and Bud take the cake.

I'd expect that, re macros. But you do get some good stuff too, and I'll be relying on you all. (probably not your store, but the franchise).
