I don't know what this means. Are you asking me if I open doors and carry luggage or if I'm fat?

Went to a tasting on Friday, pretty small samples and didn't take any notes but:

Bia Bitter Ale - pretty meh, crisp and clean, not much to it though.

Orkney Dark Island - fantastic dark brown ale, nice smokey chocolate tones to it

Orkney Dark Island Reserve- same as above but aged in whiskey cask ... unreal flavour, potent with a nice whiskey sweetness to it

Orkney Skull Splitter - One of my favourites of the night, smooth with some nice grapey type fruit notes, 8.5% abv, will knock your d!ck in the dirt

Bad Attitude 2 Penny Porter - really nice porter, some rich coffee flavours

Bad Attitude Hipster Pilsner Wine - apparently only deemed a "wine" due to the higher alcohol content, good summer time pil, kind of earthy/grassy

Bad Attitude Hobo IPA - not big on hops so this didn't do a whole lot for me, initial flavour was pretty decent, the strong bitter hoppy aftertaste is what did me in on this one though.

Boont Amber Ale - This one topped the night for me, best Amber I've ever had. Great caramel malt taste, just a bit of hoppy bitterness to balance it out

De Molen Bloed, Zweet & Tranen (Blood, Sweat & Tears) - This was like drinking a smoked ham. A small glass would be a nice touch with some BBQ, I don't know how anyone could power through an entire bottle of this stuff though.

my store carries Skull Splitter. we can barely keep it on the shelf. i may have to try it out one of these days.

yup i dunno why the abv is sooo high, i am not usually a fan of going all abv crazy. but it's delicious. most cl beers have a bit of the tart funk to them (which i love)

this one is aged in apple brandy barrels, the apple taste is subtle but it's there. i'm kinda glad my pub's keg kicked because i was getting accidentally way too drunk.

- Don'tForgetTocchet

I love sour/tart finishes on certain beers. That funk thing is kind of a Belgian style standard a lot of time too. Even the New Morning Italian saison had a bit of that going on in the background. Lupulus has that in truckloads. I like it.

Thx bud.

Yeah, definitely a warm weather offering, though the tall boy can works against them there. I'm hitting up my favorite Cali IPAs before the move back, as they'll be harder to grab in WNY.

I still think pale lagers are disgusting. There is no good time of year for them. Lots of good dark lagers out there though.

Wait, that's not a pale lager. Maybe a Vienna or something lol. They're trying to trick people!

So good. I'm a big fan of wheat beers, this one is nice and smooth. Lots of flavours going on, kind of banana and citrus sweetness. Highly recommend it.

I haven't had that but weizen bocks are tasty. Ayinger is a great brewery too so it'd be hard to go wrong with that.

Very, very good. Best beer from a can i've had yet next to that Heady Topper. If you're a fan of the hopper beers this one delivers.
Unfortunately the price tag scares me away at $80 a case??
