i couldn't really appreciate it when i tried it before because i'd had like 2 different beers before it so my mouth was all confused going into it.

i just had a couple to start my evening of beer drinking and i like it. it's different, but i enjoy it.

I had one tonight too. Mine also said 57 days. Very, very good. Their beers never disappoint.

i'm not sure it's hard cider, i think it's actually a beer brewed with apples.

i don't mind hard cider, just not my first choice. kinda reminds me of apple-ey champagne, the couple i've sipped on, anyways.

There's also the Ephemere Blackcurrant. Pretty much my favourite fruit beer.

I can help you on this one There are a lot of brewpubs in montreal.

There's Dieu du Ciel (19th best brewery in the world according to ratebeer), Benelux, L'Amère à Boire, Cheval Blanc, Brasseurs de Montréal, Brutopia, Le réservoir, les Soeurs grises...

And there's the Vices et Versa near where I live. They have about 35 different beers (all Quebec micros) and change every week. One of my favourite places in Montreal.

damn i wish i had this list before my last visit, i was recommended benelux and it was ok, but they didn't have anything besides their own beers. i wanted to try more unibruoe types i can't get here. and i definitely would have loved to go to dieu du ciel.

if you're ever in TO, go to the Rhino. Best selection in the city, with (by Canadian standards) awesome prices.

Every Dieu du Ciel beer is one of the best of its type. They are unbelievable.

Forgot the St-Bock. Their selection is pretty awesome too. Brasseurs Illimités, Hopfenstark are nice too, but at about 20min from Montreal.

C'est What, Bar Volo, The Only Cafe, Smokeless Joes, Beerbistro, Bier Markt.. there are tons of great pubs and bars in Toronto. I've never been to the Rhino though. I can't imagine it has a better selection than most of those I listed. That'd be scary lol.

My only problem with the DDC brewpub is how crazy packed the place was when I was there. The beer is amazing though. IPAs, stouts, belgian ales, german bocks and weizens.. pretty much everything you can think of they've made, and made well. I wish the LCBO would carry Rigor Mortis again.

It's selection is on par with or better than bier markt or beer bistro... But much cheaper and with an awesome patio, and less suit-y crowd.

Cest what doesn't have a huge selection, but it's all Ontario microbrews, which makes it awesome.

That's why I try to go to the DDC brewpub in Saint-Jérôme, about 30min from Montreal. Very nice town, good restaurants, nice museums...and an awesome, not crazy packed brewpub

Just a Belgian strong brown beer. Just tastes like an Unibroue beer, and even better.
