Yeah that'll probably be really cool too. Spidey being my super-duper favourite ever though I'm pretty excited about the Romita Spidey edition.

BTW I am in another drawing competition...was sucked into it at the comic store for the Avengers vs X-Men launch event.

Will do if I can get digitals of them.

There will be some different categories but I am unsure exactly what. I know there will be at least two awards: one for north american style comic art and one for manga art.

I am thinking of doing a Spider-Man drawing.

I see the offer to live in your home has been rescinded then? I must rethink my entire 'falling down' life scenario.

So.. found the Roquefort 8 a bit sweet for my usual liking, but can't say I didn't enjoy it. I had it first and am glad I did because there was a lot going on with it and I was happy to sip at it, and as it warmed (was slightly below room temp when served) it mellowed out a bit and some of the deeper flavors like caramel (vs sugar) came out more.

The Maresdous I did enjoy a lot. I think I'm probably the only person who will have this reaction, but it actually reminded me alot of unfiltered hard cider - both in flavor and in the way it was sharply carbonated but without a lot of foam and without being especially filling.

Thanks for the tips, folks.

Alright, my fellow beer snobs, need some info if possible.

I picked up a few 4 packs for the Super Bowl:

Unibroue Maudite
Dogfish Head Midas Touch
Innis & Gunn Rum Cask (had before, totally enjoyed it)

Really just need to know what I'm getting into with Maudite and Midas Touch. I've been wanting to try them and have seen some reviews on both, just wanted to get some "first hand" opinions.

i drink maudite often
belgian stlye but has its own personality, very warm and welcoming taste
it packs a punch because it drinks easy like a low alc content but it's 8% or so, be careful

give the dogfish to yr friends lol

thanks

if Maudite is anywhere near as good as St Bernardus Abt 12, my liver's going to be in trouble. good thing my wife doesn't mind being the D.D.

my friend and i are going to have a good time with these 3. they're all over 7%.

i've just been watching some reviews on Midas Touch and the reviews go either way. i don't mind trying new stuff - except for mass produced piss water. people are going apepoop at my store for that new Bud Light Platinum. oh boy, it's triple filtered and they upped the ABV allllllllllllll the way to 6%! whew...better not have more than 2 - you might get poopfaced.
