Recchi is absolutely a Flyers all-timer…the points and accomplishments speak for themselves. It’s also great to know that a guy who’s already in the Hockey HOF will be recognized by the team he spent the majority of his career with. I really don’t get this supposed backlash from a small segment of the fan base over something that occurred two decades ago. It’s time to get over it.
Eagles 2-0 but some how people think they're in trouble - 2Real
They have not played well. Teams have taken away the quick strike. They need to adjust. Good thing is they are 2-0.
Personally, the fact they committed to the run last night is a positive. Shows they are willing to take what the d is willing to give. Just need to be patient and wait for the quick strike opportunities. Hurts needs to adjust and take the short plays. Mahomes did it all year last year and won the SB.
Defense was good. Need to get healthy though. I feel like they will trade for a safety at the deadline. Covey needs to go.

Brown was open numerous times. No wonder he yelled at Hurts.

Agreed. Teams are giving different looks from last year. Adjustments need to be made.
Fortunately, they have 15 more regular season games to figure it out. Again, I think last night was a positive. They rediscovered what they are good at. Teams will adjust to that and other things will open up.

Yeah, I am not worried. They played 2 games and now have more time off before the next game to work and correct things. But, my mind goes back to when the last Diva top receiver was not happy. I am sure Brown is more mature and knows that he has a great thing going on here.

I don't get the backlash about Recchi either, but in this case just consider the source and move on.

Are you sure about that? Perhaps there is a reason why the titans didn't want to reup his contract. They saw the Diva thing and had already had enough. Of course, it seems a good 50% of WR's in the NFL are Divas, so there is that.

Titans were and are not close to winning A SB anytime soon, they are not even close enough to sniff one.
Brown can win a Sb here possibly and then ask to get traded if he wants

I was speaking more from a Titans point of view. I didn't understand why they would trade a 24 year old WR with his credentials. Perhaps it's as simple as they didn't want to pay him. Or perhaps he was a bit of a diva and they didn't want to deal with that. Obviously the situation in Philly is better for him.
By the way, I think that fumble into the end zone rule resulting in a touch back and the ball being turned over to the other team is s stupid rule. It needs to be changed. If it's recovered by the opposing team in the EZ then of course it's a touch back, but if the defending team doesn't recover the fumble it's a stupid rule. Thanks!

I agree it is a dumb rule. But it is also a rule that has been in effect for a while now and the players know, and are coached, not to do it. Bad play by Jefferson.
Edited after watching: Jefferson didnt reach, it was just a fumble out of the end zone. Touchback every time.

It is stupid. Once you break the plane, it's a TD.
