I am seeing a qb who is repeatedly failing to make correct reads and repeatedly being baited into mistakes. They just showed him look at a single safety that morphed into cover 2 and he fell for it and threw an INT. Last game he saw a DE rush sownfield and he called a run read in that direction and did not see LB and CB do a run rush as well. Goedert had no one in his time zone.

The only hope is he plays himself out of it. But that rarely happens within a NFL season.

Early season predictions: 11-6 to 10-7 with bad losses against top teams. Hurts out of top 10 in MVP votes.

Barber, who was dealing with the death of his wife, probably should have took a leave of absence. But the players also did him no favors by speaking out publicly. It was an ugly situation all around.

Honestly, it capped off a 5 year period from 97-2002 that, while the hockey wasn’t as bad as recent years, the off ice dramas were a never ending ugly soap opera.

Hockey wasn't NEARLY as bad as recent years!! They were in the Finals in 1997 and should have won the Cup in 2000. Made the playoffs every year in that span. The last decade of Flyers hockey has been atrocious compared to any other era of Flyers hockey. They have been an absolute disgrace since they won that playoff series against the Pens in 2012 (the last time we attended a game).

The Eagles are the luckiest team in the free world. Guy fumble the ball into the end zone and then they get a FG before half. That's a 10 point gift right there. Guess they still have the horse shoe up their butts from last season, but this luck can't last forever. Hurts will crash back to earth against REAL defenses this season! Thanks!

The eagles are a very good team…..looking to find that path. (I didn’t want to say rhythm again). But they are starting to get nicked up a bit.

So a 5 man front was stuffing the vikes ….for some reason they just decide 4 is the way to go…base package….I thought goof ball Gannon was gone? .and the vikes are in the game. Both new guys really aren’t inspiring much confidence.
