The big team news was Matvei Michkov making his first appearance of the season for Sochi. The SKA prospect is back with the Leopards on loan and slotted into the second line here alongside Artur Tyanulin and Amir Garayev. He played 18 minutes and picked up two assists along the way.
no that's the point you're making. mine was this is the second escape using the same strategy. the issue should've been fixed after the first escape. - Peter Richards
I actually worked at that prison many moons ago for about a year and a half. I'm sure things have changed, but they had a maximum security wing at that prison for violent crime offenders. He was due to be transported in 4 weeks, so he was just being held there temporarily. They increased the razor wire on top of the roof after the escape a few months ago, but it wasn't enough to deter this guy. I've heard that the leadership at that prison is in shambles. The Warden resigned the day before the escape and the Warden before him resigned. Haven't had a real Warden there since Ed McFadden (he was actually there when I worked there).

That explains why they let go a watchtower guard after the escape, probably spending his whole shift on hockeybuzz and scratching his nuggets.

You think players are publicly going to come out against their coach? - ClaudeFather
First of all is it really coming out against the coach? He's just trying to make a personal connection with his players. Some may like, some may not. Is it really a big deal? A player says the coach asked to see some family pictures. The horrors!

Where exactly did I state this was a big deal? My only comment was that the players, even if they were uncomfortable, are not going to start a media sh!t storm right before a season. I donβt think it was a big deal.

was it just family pics or all pics?
Some players may not want to share or have that type of relationship with a coach.

Too bad they didn't kill him! - Letterkenney
I wonder what the total tax dollars Pennsylvanians spent over the past couple weeks using heat signature helos and multiple LEA's to apprehend this muppet.
I read it was just some family pics, kids etc. The Chicklets guys went unibomber once again like they did with Michkov. - MBFlyerfan
Again, you are not going to get players coming out publicly against a coach right before a season for something minor like this. Not worth the headache
