True..Every year the steelers become more and more mediocre and barely beat bad teams. I can't remember when the steelers actually blew out a bad team? But when they are 9-8 or whatever this season will bring, people will look back at the 70's steelers team or when cowher was here to enlighten them and the owner will sign tomlin to some ridiculous 10 year contract.

Sid shoudn't be fighting because, outside of a select few players, there's no one that makes a fair trade of 5 minute majors. Also, since everyone wears a visor, good chance of messing up your hand on a fight.

You don't need some knuckle dragging plug (see: Flyers, ND) out there, you just need a full team that's committed to having each other's backs.

Who would you rather have than Pickett? I don't give a rat's ass about what college a player went to, but there's no star-studded QB out there who could elevate this team to contender. If Pickett sucks, then playing him gets a better pick position. If he figures it out, then he becomes a legit QB option. Win/win.
