Yes, I was just replying to a comment a not trusting young women around stars. I can see someone not trusting 1 woman because of false accusations coming to light in some cases but Hyde had more than 1 woman accuse him. - WhiskeyMan
I agree with you they're (enjoy the error you bastards).
Apparently the church of scientology tried to help him cover up the three he got convicted on. They also got two women to wait too long before reporting and those two cases were dropped.

Just saw that, he made it private. Either a trade or a controversial Team Canada 🇨🇦 report. |

Has that church come out and say anything yet. I am sure Tom Cruise does not want that kind of bad press.

Thanks for an explanation that wasn't needed. You are free to apply any standard you want. From my perspective, Hart is innocent until he is proven guilty. Since it's all rumor to this point. - MJL
i appreciated his contribution. why do you have to be a Richard about it? |

I’m not defending Hyde from that 70’s show. Maybe he did do it. However, I don’t trust young woman all about hanging with a celebrity and pro athletes either. - SuperSchennBros
But Hillary said you should believe women unless Bill is involved.

Late in the evening on Sept. 7, while the first game of the 2023 NFL season was underway, observant Philadelphia Flyers fans noticed that goalie Carter Hart made his Instagram account private, limited comments on all posts, and removed “Flyers” from his bio. Hart, 25, has been at the center of discussions around the Hockey Canada sexual assault investigation and never publicly denied his involvement in the crime.
In addition to Hart, several other players on the 2018 Hockey Canada World Junior team have also gone dark on their Instagram accounts. Twitter users noticed that Brett Howden of the Vegas Golden Knights, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames, Jonah Gadjovich of the San Jose Sharks have also done the same, although some have claimed that Dube and Gadjovich were private already.
Oh oh ... Its called "Flyers" This franchise just can't catch a break
Signing Ersson early and drafting two goalies makes much more sense now doesn't it? |

It actually defies common sense and logic with unlimited resources, the London Police and whatever prosecuting agency they have in Canada still hasn’t concluded the investigation. - mikeyo27
It’s been a very long time. A bit of context: the police had closed its case until last summer when one of the papers got hold and published texts between the one of the players and the victim. In the texts he was telling her not to go to the police and she said she felt pressured and was very drunk.
The police reopened the case and in December went to a judge to get a warrant to get access to the texts and other information. In that warrant application they said they had grounds to believe 5 players sexually assaulted her. It would take time to gather the information they asked for in the warrant, review it, make decisions, etc.
But yeah, it’s very slow.
The only other timing issue is that Hockey Canada is holding a big summit on off ice culture and I’m sure they would have wanted this settled before it. It’s possible they release their report on the weekend which is why some players have reacted. I still think it’s unlikely they release anything before the cops lay charges though. |

Ersson wasn't signed early. All players are eligible to be re-signed when they're in the final year of their contract. It simply is about giving the player a vote of confidence. The two goalies they drafted are years away from playing for the Flyers. All unrelated to the Hart situation. |

Ersson was already signed for this upcoming season. The two goalies they drafted are 18 years old and are 4-7 years away from playing in the NHL. How was it the writing on the wall? |

Surely you can’t be serious! Since the Flyers came into the league they have the third best winning record in NHL history, behind the Bruins and Canadiens, they’ve also been to the cup finals eight times, the most of any NHL team since expansion, obviously winning twice.
As a man in his late 50’s I’ve been extremely fortunate to be a Flyers fan, witnessing a lot of great players and great teams. Since Mr. Snider died the team has been poorly owned and managed but hopefully that changes with a seemingly new direction. At any rate, Flyers fans have been very fortunate throughout the majority of their history.

They've had some good runs but the last time they won the Cup was 48 years ago. They're not deserving of any grace right now. |

Sure, but that has nothing to do with “being able to catch a break”. They’ve been a very fortunate franchise throughout their history. |
