I believe the following will disappoint.

Sanheim
Konency
Atkinson
Walker
Laczynski

I think Sanheim being the guy might be too much. I think because we should have traded Konency this summer and his play will show us why.

He’s 34 and just missed an entire season. I don’t think he’s gonna be the scorer he once was.

He responded well to tough love. Those are the kind of players you want to keep. My one concern about him is that he likes to play a physical game and seems to get nagging injuries. Trade Laughts and Sadheim. Although that may be tough with that long contract. I have confidence that TK can follow up last season with another good one. He's always had the talent, but he needed a kick in the ass.

I said we need him to be our next Forsberg or Giroux, meaning we need him to be our top center. I predicted him to get 60 or 70 points. That’s way lower expectation than a Forsberg or Giroux.

IMO you need kind of a go between. In a couple years this team will most likely be very young and TK is the right age to be the leader. You just can't ice an entire team of youngsters. I mean, for the right package I'd trade anyone on this team, but I just wouldn't be looking to rid the team of TK.

Yeah, Forsberg was still good when he played in Philly, but he was really a shadow of his former self because of bad feet. Dude was a total stud when he played for the Avs. I wonder how many Cups the Flyers would have won if the arbitrator would have ruled in favor of the Rags instead of the Flyers. Of course this is an old debate, but I still gotta wonder. Loved the way Lindros played the game, but he was a big target that got hammered a lot and it eventually took it's toll. I don't see Frost being a #1 center at the NHL level. I have my doubts that he would be the #2 center on a true contender. We'll see...he got paid so it's time to put up or shut up.

I just don’t see a big argument to be made with linemates this year so unless Torts is going make Frost start every shift in the d-zone, the coaching and linemate argument won’t work like before. The Flyers are legitimately deeper on wing this year:
