Wait, that's about my level of expertise, and I think I could gm pretty good? - therabbi
Coach. He was saying that watching 800 games qualified him to be coach not GM. Looks like he’s been involved in hockey management since 2007. He’s a very impressive guy. |

That dude is about as worrisome as a cloudy day. He only triggers himself when he finds out that another one of his prognostications is wrong yet again. - Phillywhiteout
Ed O’Neill says this in the movie Dutch. Just watched it. Ed O’Neill, of course is best known for playing Al Bundy on Married with Children (SSB’s avatar). Christina Applegate was also in married with children and starred in Anchorman alongside Steve Carrell. Steve Carrell was in Bruce Almighty with Jim Carrey. Jim Carrey starred in Batman Forever with Val Kilmer. Val Kilmer played Jim Morrison in Oliver Stone’s The Doors. Oliver Stone directed JFK..
…and Kevin Bacon was in JFK. |

Now I know why you and SSB are buddies on here. You both have ZERO comprehension skills. I feel like I'm talking to pre schoolers when I try to have conversations with either of you. Eh what? Triggered and weak? Like, what planet are you actually from? It certainly ain't planet earth! - Phillywhiteout
This now what, four posts you replied to me on in the last day or so? Not one single hockey point in any of your replies. One you attempted to use a simple minor change in phrasing to try and take a shot. The others were filled with childish insults with the intelligence of a 6th grader. You call that a conversation? Let me know when you actually want to have an adult conversation. I don't think you're capable of it. |

What is the reasoning behind Michkov being a healthy scratch yet again? Is there a work ethic issue with this kid? Is this Zherdev Jr?
-PLindburgh
According to Russ Cohen, the coach is an old school coach and there is only 1 roster spot available with multiple players, including Michkov, fighting for it. He is making Michkov earn the spot, not just giving it to him. |

If the Rotenberg family decides they don’t want to let Michkov go to the NHL do the Flyers get some kind of compensation for the lost pick? - Dkos
Ah ... finally .. someone other than me has picked his head up from the sand! The short answer is "no". |

Hmmm...not concerned at all to now not all that concerned? Already changing your tune I see. It's okay. - Phillywhiteout
MJL will slowly change his tune over several posts and then tell you he was concerned about Frost and the Michkov pick all along. It's a pattern with him. Hmmmm ... where have I heard this before? .... |

Michkov’s father alleged that the contract was a fraud because it never had his signature on it. Unfortunately within days of that allegation he was found face down in a pond. Crossing Rotenberg is probably not a very good idea. - Djapana
Right, but don't worry, Michkov will be playing for the Flyers in 3 years, after all the kid said he wanted to come over as soon as possible |

This is why you should stop listening to people. Most likely is that you are interpreting his comments incorrectly. Bill Meltzer wrote about the coach of Michkov's team. He's not a coach at all per se, let alone an old school coach. He's a russian oligarch pretending to be a coach. He has no hockey background whatsoever. |

This is pure desperation and irony on your part. Actually I'm well known for sticking to my opinions and not budging. You described yourself here. You repeatedly claim the sun is not going to rise and then around dinner time the next day, you post, see I told you the sun would rise. |

Wait, I read Bill's post. I was only adding what I heard on a podcast from Russ Cohen. I have no idea if Bill has more insights or Russ has more insights. I am just reporting what was said, not saying one or the other is correct or not. |

The facts are:
1. There is no agreement, legal or friendly between the NHL and KHL right now
2. There is no body that has authority to enforce any rules of contract
3. Russian thugs tied to Putin own and drive the team that Michkov is signed to
4. Michkov's Dad was murdered, supposedly for trying to get Michkov out of his contract, not that it would matter because they would not let Michkov leave anyway just like they did not let Fedotov leave
5. Anyone that crosses Putin get their plane downed, or fall down a flight of stairs, or are found face down in a pond, look up Suspicious_deaths_of_Russian_businesspeople in 2022-2023
6. Nothing will change as long as our compromised president and the thugs in Ukraine keep this war going so they can profit
I'm not making this up, this is as real as it gets! The fact is, you should be very concerned about Michkov ever playing for the Flyers! |

Everyone is childish that has the audacity to challenge you on anything. Get over yourself already. How many hockey teams have you played for? How many Flyers games have you attended? Snore!
You blatantly said you have no concerns about Michkov coming over when the time comes and were even smug about it. Stand on that hill...no backing down now! |

Wait!
There is quite a difference between labeling him as an "old school" coach and what Bill wrote, that he has no hockey background. What is most likely? Another in a long line of mischaracterizations of what is said by a hockey analyst in the media by you. |
