Not with Goodrow on the ice.

Need a bounce back season from him. He mostly just blended in last year.

he was pretty terrible all season long, he only scored 3 goals after December 22nd and was completely useless in Devils series

Filter by center and look at the FO% for some of the top point producers in the league. Mackinnon, Hughes, Thompson, Petterson, Stuetzel, eichel, zegras. It happens

- picklerick

Chytil isnt even scoring half of what those guys are producing. Those guys can afford to not win faceoffs when theyre close to or over 100 pts on the year. The only one worse than Chytil is Hughes, 99 points though.

You cant use the top players in the league as a reason to excusr Chytil, because hes not a top player, hes not even a mid player.

Thats a problem, and hes one of the locker room guys. So when he is frustrated with things it trickles down.

But they get the minutes to put up those numbers with good line mates. Cmon it’s not far fetched

So what do we think the lines will be?

Laf - Mika - Kakko
Panarin - Chytil - Wheeler
Kreider - Trocheck - Goodrow
Vesey - Bonino - Pitlick

or

Kreider - Mika - Kakko
Panarin - Chytil - Laf
Goodrow - Trocheck - Wheeler
Vesey - Bonino - Pitlick

or something else? Hoping he doesn't galaxy brain it

Agree with the "kids" getting some more top six minutes. Love the 2/3rds of the 3rd line. Still missing a 3rd line winger. Goodrow has a lot of value on 4th line (as long as you don't take his salary into account..lol) Kakko should also get some more time on the PK...He work on the boards would be an asset. Was just listening to NHL Network on Sirius. They ripped Drury with the additions of both Kane and Tarasenko at deadline. Their belief was that it really threw off the player dynamic..Hopefully, Drury doesn't bring in any big name players if NYR is in a playoff position, but rather just adds some "character" guys, if need be.

Well, if you move LAF to RW it does open up a spot on LW for Cuylle.

I get it...that was then...Game a little faster, and hes a little slower. Hey..not saying I'd be all that upset if he was on 3rd line.

You also have to take into account that Chytil sees 3rd line minutes and no PP time as these others players do.

I think expecting Aecliptic to have a reasonable conversation about Chytil is an impossibility, it's personal

I don’t follow baseball closely enough to know anything about prospects, but sounds like a few promising players coming back. Anyone you’re excited about?

So bad. The Yankees outside Cole and Judge are a joke. You think I hate Chris Drury, pfft. The hate I have for Brian Cashman cannot be described.
