Check out this definitely not racist guy dying on the hill that K’Andre is worth $2.5m - picklerick
I saw this post and had to comment on it.
If 2.5m is all theyre offering, every team in the league should be offer sheet him. |

Getting miller signed at $4-$4.5m would be ideal for them. Would be good for all sides - nyrangers2
4 mil would be amazing. If Drury could pull that off that would help future cap issues. |

In all fairness, have you not mentioned converting Fox to a Center as well? |

Guilty. I see upside in both Fox and Miller as forwards. But to be honest, my thoughts about Fox moving up have diminished after watching him more closely this year.
There is precedent for such a move in the NHL, although I must admit I have seen it happen in many years. |

Actually, in 1984 Craig Patrick utilized Ron Greschner at forward often during that season. |

Last word on this.
The best example of a defenseman moving up to forward, was Len “Red” Kelly. He was a Norris trophy winner in 1954 while playing for Detroit. He was traded to the Leafs in 1960, and Punch Imlach moved him to center, where he went on to numerous awards and another Stanley cup in 1967. He also was a member of the Canadian Parliament during his playing days in Toronto. |

Those are good times, but he's not terribly wrong. Doesn't seem that long ago I was in your shoes. Now, I'm on my way to watch mine umpire the younger softball divisions. |
