The habs have set a record for games lost to injuries 2 years in a row....prediction for next year....will they match/beat their record from last season? Same group of guys mostly, Price will be on LTIR but Byron and Drouin won't be there.
- Symba007

the thought of that alone is depressing AF. it better not be that way again, hopefully they are looking into this issue to make sure some of the mistakes that were made by both the players and medical staff in terms of injury management don't happen again.

not letting him play when he's wearing a giant (frank)ing boot would be great.

Ylonen is far from a lock on the top 6 there. He may not even make the team. I think that's where I would use Monahan. And if Dach get injured, he can move at C on the 2nd.

beat me to it, EXACTLY that... not sure jesse makes the team

sure, one of the best prospect we've had in years up front and he won't make the team. a team which finished 28th.

I don't really want to see Dvorak or Evans in the top 6 again. It would happen if Suzuki or dach goes down.

drouin was mtl 2nd line centre for a good stretch last season

you think he doesn't..? I think he was enjoying it very much until he got injured, and he was playing rather well. don't see this as an issue, it's up to habs management imho.

I'm all for bringing him back, I'm just saying we don't have the room. make some trades, open some spots.... no problem with Monahan on a short term contract with bonuses.

I think RHP gets a spot before him. They dont have spots for 3000 rookies next season like they did with the blue line. Unless injuries and trades happen.

yep, but because of his work ethic. Ylonen is a different type of player.
these 2 kids should have a spot before Armia, Hoffman and even Gallagher

We dont have him as a lock. Thats not saying he is bad, but to talk like he was Bedard or something...

He has to earn a spot and have a good camp.

To do list for HuGo

Draft, UFA season and new contracts for the RFA/UFA they want to bring back

Contracts:

RFA
Caufield, RHP, Pezzetta, Gurianov

UFA
Monahan, Belzile, Drouin, Tierney, Byron

- Symba007

Caufield gets done before the draft. RHP probably as well.

Pezzetta.... meh.

Maybe Monahan, depending on his health status.

Byron will move into management somewhere.

well you and xizord seemed to be thinking he was more likely to not make the team, while I see his chances of making it as pretty damn good.

So, Caufield (faut le signer)-Suzuki - ?
Slaf-Dach-Anderson
RHP-Dvorak-Gallagher
Pezzeta?-Evans-Armia

to me Ylonen is the 2nd best RW they have going forward behind Anderson.
Gallagher is now bottom 6 material, Armia is useless 90% of the time.

pas fort chef

je vois Heineman dans ma soupe. wouldn't be surprised to see him get a spot, ahead of Slaf tbh. (for now, that may change in a few years hopefully)

all the others.... meh
