Nor the Leafs, Oilers or half the teams in the league.

I am in the get one of Hart/Helly camp.

Yeah. It’s the smart move

Feels like way too much to me.

4 years away from a 3rd liner? Is that really how you feel about a #13 in a strong draft?

- Lunaion

Look at every single draft. the chances of getting a stout player, versus a third liner, regardless of strong draft or not favor the third liner

You can’t say goalies are extremely volatile when talking about trading for one, and then in the same sentence, call a guy with seven career games, a definite cornerstone franchise goalie.

That’s all I meant

- ImThatGuy

I agree. I was pointing out that I don't think anyone is doing that. Hart is an overpay and there is a decent chance that he isn't the better goalie anyway.

It's a smart move to get a real good nhl goalie. I don't put Hart and helle both in that boat though. If you're giving up multiple good assets I need a helle type.

This is all fine and good. But I will give Adams 10x more credit if he takes a big swing and misses rather than go bargain bin shopping and have it kinda of work.

I just really, really can’t hear the “what was he supposed to do” excuses next year if some off the street #3 goalie poops the bed in the #2 role here

can't wait to watch that sh1t locomotive roll into the fukcing station

I think they will surprise people and he will turn Gaudreau and Laine into Zetterberg and Datsyuk.

They need a goalie something fierce.

Which is weird how the Sabres just cannot find one of those everywhere guys

Some teams have good goaltending and some don't, and even on the same team it will vary from one year to the next. We haven't had it for 2 years after having had it for a ton of years before that.

13th pick from 2020-2013

2020- Seth Jarvis
19 - Knight
18 - Dellndrea
17 - Suzuki
16 - Jake Bean
15 - Bostons terrible picks(Because they picked off need not BPA) could of had Barzal, Connors, Chabot
14 - Vrana
13 - Morrissey

Most of those guys are top of the lineup players... especially if you took away their drugs

So any trade - no matter how foolish - is alright with you? I hate to say it but much of the good goaltending this year was found in the bargain bin (and a lot of high-priced goalies are not playing well). All the more reason to get as many lottery tix as possible.

Feels like 50/50 to me. Obviously, if a guy like Jarvis falls to them at 13 I'd want them to keep it. But that's a player whose numbers were too good to be available that late. If that happens again Im all for that selection. If the board is clear of those types of players by then I think it'd be worth moving it.

League average the last 2 years. Little above 1 year, little below the other. Fine getting for him a fair price, but he's not worth 1st round assets, imo.
- Lunaion

Agreed. I would do UPL, the Risto second and a b prospect/Jokiharju if he is interesting to them

Talented undersized players always fall. Watch for Benson this year.

Theres some mid-late round studs IMO. Barlow being 1

That's actually a pretty fair idea, although I am sure Philly would want more than that. He is an RFA after this year - should be interesting to see what he gets. I think one of the ironic things about potentially trading for him is that - if he split time with Levi - that might actually drive his next contract lower.

Some people have pee pees and some have coochies and even then their family jewels vary from one person to the next. I havent had a vagina boob for 38 years and counting but my bussy is ripe and blooming.
