Unfortunately, I went out of a two thumbed cannon and over the edge.

it's ~20%+ more pro time than the 9 games he'll be able to get at the NHL level next year. Pretty significant increase if you ask me.
- JCSabs06

My point is that it’s too small of a sample to dictate any NHL plans next season and it’s not preparing him for the AHL.

I’m not saying don’t play him, I’m just saying it’s pretty meaningless in the scheme of things

The problem is Savoie can't play in the AHL next season, and is only getting a few game sample. It's quite meaningless to play him
- sbroads24

It would also be technically meaningless for any one of 10 - 12 players to play in the playoffs as they aren't our future. Since that is also true, I'll side with playing the kid.

Don't get me wrong - I don't think it is a travesty if they don't. I just don't buy the "hurt the chemistry" argument in the AHL. If anything, they could use an injection of skill and speed.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again.

Mayback’s Deli on NF Blvd has the best stinger sub in town and it’s the closest NY bodega feeling you can get.

Dubas overpaid and protected a losing core, next man up.

I think they should move Marner and Nylander, pending a Matthews extension

- washedup20

Oh come on. Every single GM would keep those players.

That is crazy talk

I don't care if they play him or not. I just don't think it's important in anyway shape or form.

He can't play there next year, and how much is a 3-4 game sample in a brand new league going to dictate what they do with him next year?

We would be saying different things if he went all Devon Levi on 'em though.

And if it is ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things then I guess it doesn't really matter at all either way.

I disagree with you entirely, looks like the Maple leaf's organization does as well.

But if he was really good, that would show when he’s at camp/preseason anyways.

I just think his path right now is basically etched in stone

He gets his 9 games, and goes back

With how weak he is physically, and with the Sabres having experience rushing high draft picks (Mitts/Nylander specifically for this situation) I agree. He won't be ready until he bulks up.

Could sending him to Europe next season be an option?

I don't believe the CHL-NHL transfer agreement allows that. Savoie is not an import.

Had wingnutz in north buffalo about a month ago.

Kinda disappointing.

Frequented the knights of Columbus location during the pandemic. Always top notch.

Froth brewery apparently bought out the owners and now they work together

Today the Oilers traded a 2023 5th round pick...

I’ve been gone for 20 years, maybe that’s why I’ve never heard of a stinger sub? What’s that about? I know I always get a Royal when I’m back in town. My God I want a Royal right now.

I was the opposite of disappointed. I'm going with some friends to the Froth location next month, very excited about it.

Does John and Marys have the best royal and also the best steak sub in Buffalo?

CHL-NHL deal stops the Sabres from being able to assign him there.

CHL players are under contract. I believe the CHL has transfer agreements with most of the Euro leagues, so I believe that's what stops him from doing it on his own (if he didn't have an NHL contract).

My understanding of it.

The Bozanna's on Camp Rd in Hamburg got closed a few years back. Nice little Coke ring going on there.
They used to make huge Roadt Beef Sandwiches. They would come with a extra Costanza Roll cause you always had enough beef that would fall out to make another sandwich
