What a terrible precedent set by management that you can be absolutely horrible, the team lives at the bottom of the league during the entirety of his tenure - who only became a leader because he was the only player legally allowed to rent a car last season, gets taken care of.

For sure, and those are the decisions that matter most IMO.

Good teams draft well, but you'll never bat 100%. The great teams are able to still get value even for the guys who may come up short relative to their draft position or vision for their cup team.

Thats the misconception with offensive players. Tage is a liability in his own end, but when he's not scoring, he can still do a fair bit in terms of playmaking or puck possession. Ditto Skinner.

But olofsson doesn't offer anything outside of his shot. He's not much of a playmaker, he's not strong on the puck, he doesn't shoot for volume. It's not that he's useless but his value is so niche that unless he's replacing a total liability in the lineup, you almost certainly lose that swap.

Now you have done it.
Preach on brother, however you realize that Boss will enter the frey and light you up on your Olofsson take, them somehow tie it to Sam sucking and how valuable Risto was.

yeah there's that too. The other thing is some of the data is now showing for most teams an 11/7 lineup is more optimal, which just leaves one less bottom six spot for Olofsson to take up on whatever team tries to add him.
