Trust in JR to get things moving. Allvin has a loooooong way to go.

Looks like Jimmy would have fit well here as our backup goalie making 800K per.

lol. Probably time to talk about Turtlechuk flourishing outside of the Flames organization and avoiding the 20 year rebuild there since 2005. Nonis will help Calgary huge.
- LordHumungous

Shouldn’t you be pleasuring your new mod buddy, Aaron?

I think Chucky was a pretty good player with the Flames as well.

I personally haven't cared to follow him, but i've read he likely isn't worth a top 20 pick, let alone at #11

I've said a few spots too high. I've seen a lot of public rankings think he's a good pick there and Pronman. Quotes from Lefty's blog of what scouts think of him.

He’s blindingly fast in a straight line, he’s got good hands. I’m not sure there’s a ton of upside, because I just haven’t seen the hockey sense. He can be a bit one-dimensional five-on-five.

I don’t think a team drafting him is going to be getting a future fixture in the top-six, he presents more like a mid-six, two-way guy with how solid he can be defensively and how proficient he is with his speed.

With Danielson, I’m a middle first round rating for him. I really like him, I would take him on my team any day, I just don’t know if he has enough offence to be taken that high.

At 15, I would take him. He sounds like a Horvat type of player. Horvat is a good player and definitely warrants that selection at 15 easily. As seen though, he's not a play driver and pretty one dimensional.

Aaron quit being a Mod because he was threatened with legal action.

Myers has one year left, I'd rather ride it out and pick up an additional 2nd in that trade with Chicago.

With the rumoured cap increases, I'm much more in favour with buying out OEL although I suspect he'll play at least 1 more season before that happens.

He's much better on Florida. Same with Bennett and Lomberg.

Yeah, built for the playoffs. Him against Pietrangelo should be epic in the finals. Gudas has surprised me as well.

Not really much of a reach. More like filling a need. Kid is gonna be good when he gets better players around him. Well worth 11oa.

Seems like Vegas rolls 4 physical lines pretty hard which FLA hasn't technically seen. Interesting. lol

I would say in the trade with Chicago, I'd ask for a prospect back as well or even another pick as of course they will get to trade Myers at the TDL.

Not much different than Martinook playing top 6 in Carolina. or Luostarinen in Florida.

There is a lot worse players that have been staples in the league for longer

Still not idea to have him top 6 though.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Get OEL off the books by LTIR or BO. I can go one more year with Myers playing the 5/6 spot and trade him at TDL.

I see fans everywhere complaining about the quality of the prospect pool and then in their next comments say trade down. My take is I would prefer the Quality over Quantity, in fact I would even be in favor of trading up. I would love to see them trade for Carlsson, take the risk.

I still don't think Canucks will draft at spot 11 but I think the pick is traded.

I'd rather use first round picks on top6 or top4, as much as we need a middle 6 center I just think at 11th you should be doing a lot better than that. I wouldn't hate the pick, we need a shut down center, much rather would see D picked.

Trading up for Carlsson would be a homerun. If you want to compete you need those two stud centers.

Trading down still adds to the quality and not quantity of the prospect pool.
